The guys would like to extend a big THANK YOU to all the fans who came out to support us at the Londoner last night. Several special guest players helped to keep the energy level hopping well into the wee hours. Former Twits Tim May (Vocals) and Wendell Stroup (Drums) came up to lend their talents on the Twit original "My Situation" and an especially stirring rendition of that AC/DC love song "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap." Later in the evening, none other than Bobby Blotzer (drummer of Ratt fame) jammed with the Twits on Journey's "Anyway You Want It" and "Lights", as well as the Five Man Electrical Band's "Signs." Needless to say, the place rocked and reeled and everyone had a great time! Also, a special Thank You goes out to Karen and Bridget, the new owners of the Londoner! Thank you again to everyone for keeping it fun -- we'll see you at the Santa Clarita Open Air Market on April 17th! |

Thanks again to those of you who came out yesterday to see the Twits perform at Santa Clarita Open Air Market. We had a great time, and thanks to your generous tips were able to buy some great munchies for the big game :) A special thanks goes out to Cory Ruffner who came up to sing “Sweet Home Alabama” with the guys. Wow—14 years old with so much talent! Don’t be surprised if you see his name in lights someday soon. Can you say “American Idol 6”? Other guest vocalists to join the guys on stage included Betsy Weiss (lead vocalist in Scott’s former band) who sang Cheap Trick’s “Surrender”, and Scott’s niece, Sarah Spencer, who came up to lend a hand with background vocals on “Mustang Sally.” Here’s to all who help make it such a memorable day! Hope to see you all again at the next show!

We kicked-off our Southern California Summer Tour on May 27th at the popular Fiesta Hermosa in Hermosa Beach to an exuberant capacity crowd. Our appreciation goes out to those of all ages who attended including those who joined us on stage to lend their vocal support; the lovely ladies who where dancing on the speakers and stage; and those singing, dancing, and cheering us on from inside and outside the venue fences. Thanks for your support and we hope to see you at our next show.

July turned out to be truly spectacular for the Twits as we were fortunate enough to play two concerts in Orange County, CA and a concert along the shoreline of the "left coast" in beautiful La Jolla, CA. We continued our summer tour on July 4th with a concert before 10,000 wonderful people at the City of Yorba Linda's July 4th Spectacular celebration. The people were great and the fireworks fantastic. What a tremendous event! Our next stop took us to the world famous City of Los Alamitos, CA where we kicked-off the city's Concert in the Park series with a well received concert on July 9th. Our last concert of this eventful month took us to the beautiful city of La Jolla, CA where on July 23rd we performed seaside during the La Jolla Concerts by the Sea series. Our heartfelt appreciation to all of our fans, new and old, for supporting us. It was wonderful to see you dancing, singing, smiling, and having a great time. Stay tuned: August looks to be a blast with several more Twit appearances throughout Southern California. We hope to see you at our future concerts! |

The Twits Southern California Summer Tour closed out in the month of August with five exciting concerts in five beautiful locations. The Twits started the month with concerts in picturesque Lake Arrowhead's Center Stage Concerts series; the Lake Mission Viejo Lake Fest at beautiful Lake Mission Viejo in Mission Viejo, CA; and in the always hospitable city of Yorba Linda. The Twits finished the month with a concert on the sands of the "big pond" at the Hueneme Beach Festival in Port Hueneme CA, and with a concert to close out the City of Cerritos' Concerts Under the Stars series in friendly Cerritos, CA. We would like to thank all of the wonderful people who made this summer so special for us. Your enthusiasm and positive feedback and reactions are very much appreciated. And although the Twits Southern California Summer Tour has concluded, we hope to see you all at the Twits upcoming concerts throughout 2006 and in the years to come.

It is with regret we must say goodbye to our dear friend and brother in rock & roll, Scott Spencer. After slipping into a coma on Monday morning, he lost his battle with cancer at 5:45am this morning. His family arrived from various locations to be at his side and prepare for his passing. |

Twits drummer Jeff Swisstack has announced his decision to put a greater focus on the development, recording, and marketing of his all original music CD. As a result, Jeff will unfortunatley not be performing with the Twits beginning in December 2008. The Twits sincerely appreciate all of Jeff's significant contributions to the Twits over the past several years and wish him great success with his original music project(s). We will miss his talent, professionalism, and stage presence, but will continue to treasure his legacy and friendship as part of the Twits family.

He has toured nationally with various stage productions (Jesus Christ Superstar; Tommy; Evita; A Chorus Line; We Will Rock You); performed studio session work; and has taught drumming for the past 20 years. Theo's most recent accomplishment as a professional musician was his 2008 1st place finish at the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame drummer's competition in Cleveland, OH.
